Epson Stylus T13 with Continuous Ink System
Categories: General
I had an HP 1350 PSC and we were about to have it converted to a continuous ink system which costs PHP3,500. However, the ink shop has one of those bundled products where you get a printer and a CIS INK system combined. There’s a package that costs PHP4,000 and it consists of a brand new Epson Stylus T13 printer + CIS.
In other words, I just added an additional PHP500 and I got a new printer. Nice deal. I do had problems with finding a driver though. My desktop uses vista 64 bit so the driver included in the CD didn’t work. Epson.com doesn’t have a driver for this but eventually I found one.
Driver: Epson Stylus T13 Driver for Vista64bit /Windows 7 64bit
I tried printing on a Photopaper. It’s a very inexpensive printer so I don’t expect at lot from it when it comes to printing photos. I can still see some individual pixels but it’s good enough for an everyday, non-professional printing.
Update: I think the reason I’m seeing individual pixels is that the printer setup wasn’t set to best printing. I was able to set it to print the best quality and the resulting photos printed looks great. Not bad for a 4k bundle
